As the Business Development Manager, you will drive VisionGreen’s growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s client portfolio. Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders across the circular economy, fostering innovation, and positioning VisionGreen as a trusted leader in sustainable consultancy services.
Business Growth:
Management and delivery of sales pipeline in line with targets.
Develop and implement strategies to expand VisionGreen’s presence across Ireland and abroad.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients, including local businesses, councils, and multinational corporations.
Act as a liaison between VisionGreen and clients, ensuring seamless project execution.
Partnership Development:
Foster collaborations with industry partners, local authorities, and large corporations.
Negotiate and secure partnerships to enhance VisionGreen’s service offerings.
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
Work closely with the leadership team to align business development goals with VisionGreen’s overall mission.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, successes, and challenges.
Marketing and Branding:
Represent VisionGreen at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or consultancy, ideally within sustainability or circular economy sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability reporting, including CSRD.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, from small businesses to large multinationals.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
